Save our Skylarks!

A skylark is one of those birds that you’re far more likely to hear before you see! This is not for their small size, or tendency to hide themselves amongst long grass, but instead for their beautiful song. On bright, sunny days from the early spring, these modest birds will fill the warm air with their continuous chorus, right through to the end of summer. This has made them one of the most quintessential sounds of the British countryside. Unfortunately skylark populations have been on the decline… find out more in my video below!
